Fur, Queeny and a Whole Lot of Horses

Last week I took a few days out of my busy uni schedule to do some work at The Royal Windsor Horse Show. I was working at the 'pop-up boutique' of The Soho Furrier which is a brand new company selling fur clothing, everything from fluffy boot liners to gorgeous, glamorous jackets. Have a look at their website, I even make a few cheeky appearances!

The 5 day event was a lot of fun, however, the first 2 days consisted of rain, wind and more rain! I have never seen so much mud in my life! Luckily by the third day the sunshine came out and the whole world seemed a brighter place, just in time for the busy weekend! The show was full of horsey things (a whole new world!) and performances from many countries and cultures. And as it was the Diamond Jubilee, the pageant this year was extra special. Of course, as the event was held in the Queens back garden, the lady herself had to make an appearance! So as well as a cheeky spot of her majesty, there were also celebs galore, everyone from Helen Mirren to Susan Boyle, heaven for a keen celeb spotter like myself!

The steel band sounded amazing in the sunshine

All in all, the event was an amazing experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting back into the retail industry and being surrounded by beautiful clothes!

For now though I need to stop distracting myself and get back to this marketing report which is due in on Friday! 9 more days until summer!!
