Review- ModelCo Tan

I have always been a fake tan fanatic and being fairly pale skinned I feel like a bit of colour makes me look generally healthier...as long as I don't go overboard! I have been on the look out for the perfect fake tan for a while as I have never found one that I am truly happy with, they are always too messy, too streaky or too smelly. However, I think I have found my favourite! ModelCo Airbrush Tan in a Can is perfect. It is a beautiful, natural colour which gives you that enviable colour of 'just come back from 2 weeks in Spain' look. When I first wore it, I got so many comments from my friends and even my mum, who normally despises my fake tan habit, saying how naturally tanned I looked and questioned if I had been on some sneaky sunbeds!

The only downside I have to pick up on is the fact that it is not really 'airbrush'. It tends to spray in a blotch and so you have to rub it in, it is not a case of just spray and leave. But, as I learned the hard way, make sure you wear gloves if you don't want to end up with orange hands! Apart from that one negative point, it is so easy to apply, it never goes streaky, it smells pretty yummy (for a fake tan!) and it doesn't do that horrible thing of lingering around for 2 weeks and peeling!

All in all I would totally recommend this tan, although at £28 (200g) it is not cheap, but well worth it if you want a streak-free, natural looking tan.

BEFORE (Excuse the terrible photos)

AFTER
I realise that you can't really see much of a difference in these photos due to my terrible camera skills but it does look a lot better in real life!

Also I would highly recommend the Tan Remover Exfoliating Scrub which is great for using on any unwanted patches or in particularly on your palms straight after tanning. However, it is not great at removing old tan. It also smells delicious!
£15 (200ml)

  1. The effect is really natural. There is indeed a difference, but it looks like your natural tan! Nice effect :) Too bad it is expensive

  4. I've always been too scared to try rub on or spray tans. It looks completely natural! Maybe I should try it now...
