A really casual outfit today which I wore this evening to go to dinner to a lovely Thai restaurant to continue my Mums 50th birthday celebrations. I have been wearing a lot of jumpers and shirts recently as I have given in to the fact that summer is officially over and wearing dresses and bare legs is no longer acceptable or suitable. So this is my new casual autumn wardrobe, which khaki seems to play a huge part in.
It started to rain halfway through taking these photos which explains the poofy hair!

I have just come back from spending 10 days in the beautiful city of Moscow with my family. The trip was predominately to celebrate the 3rd and final wedding of my brother and sister-in-law as well as meeting all our new family and friends and discovering the city that we have heard so much about. The crazy Russian wedding was on the first day, which was spent driving around the city visiting the most beautiful tourist spots for photo opportunities, followed by ridiculous amounts of food and vodka and ending with party games and dancing all night. The rest of the week consisted of non-stop sightseeing and we managed to fit in everything from going to the Russian circus which was seriously the best show I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot of shows!) to eating dinner in the highest restaurant in Moscow to flying a plane to watching a ballet in the Bolshoi Theatre and even partying in a private box in the best nightclub in Moscow with the Russian football team, Olympic gold medalists and pop stars. We really did it all! And we even managed to squeeze in a road trip to the family countryside house for a couple of days of relaxing, fishing and sunbathing. It was literally an amazing trip! Between us all, we somehow managed to take over 1000 photos, which I have spent the whole of today editing and deleting! But, so not to bore you, here are just a few.

Now, I know I am a massive cliche as army jackets are literally EVERYWHERE right now, but I still absolutely love this look. I picked this one up for a fiver a couple of months ago at a market and as you can tell its a little bit big, but perfect for wearing over floaty dresses to make it feel a little bit more girly. I also wanted to show you these glasses I got from ebay the other day for a bargainous price, something like £3 and I feel I will be wearing them a lot...if the sun ever comes out!!
Today I am running around like a headless chicken trying to sort out my life. I finished my internship at the fashion PR company yesterday and I am going to Russia tomorrow!! So I have one day to pack, pamper and preen and buy all my last minute toiletries for the big trip. I am a rubbish person and will most likely not be blogging whilst I am away for the next 10 days so this is me over and out! Can't wait to tell you all about my next little adventure.

Today I was given the afternoon off work! Although I have been working in London for the past month, the daily commute and long days mean that I haven't actually had much time to just enjoy being in London. So this was the perfect opportunity to make the most of being in town with nothing to do. After meeting up for a quick coffee and long catch up with a friend in Brick Lane, I made my way around all the London hotspots, just to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the sunny afternoon. I managed to squeeze in quite a lot and felt like a typical tourist taking photos of Big Ben and the London Eye. I have only got one more day working at the PR agency that I have been at for the past couple of weeks so I really feel like I have missed out on living the London life while I have been working there. Today kind of made up for it though and I just can't wait to live there properly and not have to worry about travelling for 3 hours a day and feeling like I have no spare time. Bring on next year!!

What an absolute BEAUT of a weekend!! Sunbathing in my garden feeling like I am in Spain. Such a shame it's all going to end tomorrow..! Anyway, here is a quick outfit post while I am taking a break from the sun of what I wore yesterday. After an intense gym session in the morning, lunch and beers in the sun, I then headed down to town to watch The Tempest performed by my old theatre school in the bandstand. With everyone bringing picnic rugs and wine we all sat on the grass in the sun and watched the performance. The show was absolutely amazing and the feeling of community and just a lovely, chilled out atmosphere added to the perfect afternoon.
