привет Russia

I have just come back from spending 10 days in the beautiful city of Moscow with my family. The trip was predominately to celebrate the 3rd and final wedding of my brother and sister-in-law as well as meeting all our new family and friends and discovering the city that we have heard so much about. The crazy Russian wedding was on the first day, which was spent driving around the city visiting the most beautiful tourist spots for photo opportunities, followed by ridiculous amounts of food and vodka and ending with party games and dancing all night. The rest of the week consisted of non-stop sightseeing and we managed to fit in everything from going to the Russian circus which was seriously the best show I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot of shows!) to eating dinner in the highest restaurant in Moscow to flying a plane to watching a ballet in the Bolshoi Theatre and even partying in a private box in the best nightclub in Moscow with the Russian football team, Olympic gold medalists and pop stars. We really did it all! And we even managed to squeeze in a road trip to the family countryside house for a couple of days of relaxing, fishing and sunbathing. It was literally an amazing trip! Between us all, we somehow managed to take over 1000 photos, which I have spent the whole of today editing and deleting! But, so not to bore you, here are just a few.

  1. That looks amazing!! I'd love to go to Russian one day, especially Moscow!

  2. Moscow looks amazing!

  3. Ohhh I'm so jealous... I really want to visit Moscow! Great photos. :) x

  4. Wowwww! Moscow looks like an absolutely gorgeous city, and what a beautiful place to tie the knot.
I've never really put it on my list of places to visit, but this post (and sushi in a nightclub!?) may have just changed my mind. I have a love for beautiful architecture and Moscow looks like it definitely has just that! I love the outfit you wore to the ballet by the way.

I've just come across your blog, it's fabulous :)
