Yesterday I went to the famous Nottingham funfair, The Goose Fair. I have been living in Nottingham for over 2 years now and still hadn't been to the annual fair which is apparently the biggest in Europe. Me and my friends had been put off going before because we heard there is often a lot of trouble and crime there, so being the wimps that we are, we didn't go. However, after hearing what a big deal it was and as this is my last year at uni and it is only a 5 minute walk away from my flat, we decided it was our last chance to check it out. I wasn't expecting anything too exciting from it, but oh my god, I was in for a shock! It was absolutely huge, an utter heaven for children (and big children)! We spent the crisp, sunny evening high on adrenaline and sugar, the perfect way to get rid of third year stresses!
this looks like loads of fun, cocks on sticks eh? interesting. x
ReplyDeleteHaha, I knew these cocks on sticks exist not only in Russia! xx
