Easter Weekend in the Isle of Wight

I have just come home from an idyllic weekend spent in the Isle of Wight with my parents and my boyfriend. My family have a little cottage on the coast down there so it is tradition every year at Easter to spend the weekend walking on the beach, toasting marshmallows by the fire and of course having a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt! As it was just the 4 of us this year, and only 2 'kids' we lucked out with all the eggs and spent the majority of the time eating...! We also managed to squeeze in some time to make the infamous creme egg brownies, they were incredible! If you have never been to the Isle of Wight, it is a stunning little place to holiday and even better in the sunshine. Here are a few photos of our trip... have you ever been?

10 layers for the beach walk...
My favourite place on the island! Blackgang Chine
