Business Minded

Much to my Mothers happiness, she has somehow managed to get me into Marks and Spencer trousers and Clarks shoes! I really am getting old aren't I?! After years of her willing to make me buy some comfortable and practical shoes, I finally succumbed to these beautiful yet super super comfy ones from Clarks! I have real issues with footwear and no matter how 'practical' the shoe, I always end the day crippled and blistered and that's just in flats! I think I am destined to be a bare-foot hippy where I will never have to wear shoes! Anyway, my mission last weekend was to buy some comfy shoes to wear dashing all over London for work. And the trip was a success, along with some very grown up work clothes, I am now looking the part to be a working London lady.

Brightening Concealers- YSL Touche Eclat vs Collection 2000 Illuminationg Touch

The iconic Yves Saint Laurent Touch Éclat has been around for years and is one of beauty's best loved products. However, I know this might be controversial, but I am really not a massive fan. I have been using Collection 2000's Illuminating Touch light diffusing concealer for as long as I can remember, from buying it as a teenager, and it has always been one of my favourite products. So when I thought it was time to indulge myself, I decided to try the Touche Éclat as I had heard rave reviews about this iconic product. However, I must admit, I was terribly disappointed considering the price tag. Now don't get me wrong, it is still a lovely product but I think there are a lot better illuminating concealers on the market for a fraction of the price! At just £4 something, the Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch concealer is still my firm favourite! I find it is a much better shade for me, gives better coverage and lasts all day. Whereas, although without doubt, much nicer packaging and looking fab in your make up bag, the Touche Éclat just doesn't match up. I know different products work for different people but I just wanted to share my thoughts which just goes to show, a high price doesn't always mean a better product!

Have you tried either of these products? What do you think?

Silver and White

Another day, another outfit with another Oh My Love dress and Pasha necklace. I bought this dress a couple of weeks ago in the sale with a voucher I had for the website, it was a bargain £12! I have also worn it 3 times already, which is a pretty big deal as I get bored wearing the same thing over and over, so it must be special! I am wearing my lovely new Pasha necklace which was sent to me by the delightful ladies in Bath. I have also been wearing this non-stop and love it so much I even wore it to my graduation a couple of weeks ago. It is a real statement piece and I get so many compliments every time I wear it! It dresses up even the dullest outfit and looks just as good with a fancy dress as it does with a t-shirt! It is hand crafted and silver plated, so a beautifully well made piece of work! Unfortunately, Pasha is not available online currently, but take a look at their website for an abundance of stockists if you fancy one yourself!
