Radical Skincare

I have loved Radical Skincare for a while now, ever since trying their Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum and the Skin Perfecting Screen SPF30 which I reviewed here. The brand has just gone from strength to strength for me and these three little beauties are absolute gems in my skincare regime.
Firstly, if you don't know much about Radical, the brand was created by the daughters of a cosmetic surgeon in America. They are all about high potency and high performance which leads to dramatic results. Using the best and most high tech ingredients, these products really do make a difference to the skin. They describe themselves as a 'maximum benefits, no nonsense’ line based on a radical breakthrough: the Trylacel technology, which enables the highest concentration of actives to deliver maximum benefits and quick results.
First up is the Instant Revitalising Mask. This bad boy is incredible and unlike anything I have used before! The high-tech formula provides instant radiance to the skin and is super fun to use! When the mask comes out of the tube it is a creamy texture and as you apply it to your skin it starts to tingle and fizz on the face. This is the mask activating with the dry areas of your skin and it will dissolve after a few minutes. You can then rinse it off with water and reveal super hydrated skin. I love using this when my skin is feeling like it needs a bit of a moisture boost. It really feels like it is injecting my skin with vitamins and oxygen and my face looks noticeably different afterwards. An essential if your skin is feeling a little parched after too much sun exposure. I loved using this on holiday to give my sea and sun damaged skin a bit of a moisture hit.
Second up is my favourite product at the moment. This cleanser is an absolute beaut! I use this every morning and evening and I just can't get enough of it! It is a super creamy formula which I apply to wet skin and rub in for a few seconds before washing off. It feels really simple and gentle on the skin. What I love most about it is that it is gentle enough to use on the eyes and works at removing make up so when I just have a little bit of make up on I can skip the eye make up remover. As well as removing make up and cleansing, it also tones and hydrates, meaning you can complete your whole routine in just one step if you are feeling lazy! I am obsessed with this product and will certainly be buying it again and again when it runs out.
Finally, the Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads are one of Radical's best-selling products. I have only used these a couple of times so cannot comment too much on the long-term effects of them, but so far so good! The pads get to work on removing, dull, dead skin to aid the anti-ageing process. AHA and BHA help tighten and firm the skin while also reducing pore size and fine lines. I like using these after cleansing as a way of toning and they are great at making sure all the daily dirt and grime is properly removed. They do feel quite stringent and I find my skin tingles a little after use. I am sure this is probably a good thing as it shows they are working hard, but I always get a bit nervous as I don't want to strip my skin. I am looking forward to continuing with these to see if there will be any long term benefits.
All in all, I am obsessed with the Radical line and have loved every product I have tried so far. I am a true believer in starting with anti-ageing products young to ensure great skin in the future and this range encapsulates that. I can't wait to try more products in the range! Have you tried any of these products? Do you love Radical as much as me?

Mexico!

I have been back from Mexico two weeks and it seems like a life time ago now! I went to the Riviera Maya area with my boyfriend for a fortnight of pure bliss! We had the most amazing holiday filled with lounging on the beach, sipping unlimited cocktails and eating like kings! As well as completely relaxing and chilling out most days, we also did a few adventure days where we went zip lining through the rainforest, snorkelling with sting rays, swimming through underwater caves (my favourite thing ever!!) and tubing through mangrove rivers. As well as taking like a local and getting the Mexican buses to nearby towns to check out the local area. It was the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and exploring the Mexican culture. Unfortunately we were far too relaxed to really take any photos... which I kind of regret now! We did however manage to do a little 'photoshoot' on the beach so Ben could test out his new camera... therefore that is what I am going to share with you today! Some rather scary bikini shots... but they are all the photos I have! Now I am just counting down the days until I can go on another holiday!

Wedding Guest Wishlist

It's official...wedding season is upon us! I am particularly excited this year as I am actually going to a wedding! Cue, searching the internet for hours on end swooning over pretty dresses and deciding if they are 'wedding appropriate'. I have only ever attended two weddings in my life (both were my brothers) and I absolutely love them! There is nothing more exciting than getting glammed up and sharing the couple’s special day. Therefore, I can't wait for this year as I am going to a proper wedding (albeit as a plus one to my boyfriend) and I can't wait. In aid of this I have put together a little wish list of some of the most gorgeous dresses I have found whilst on my search. There are so many amazing dresses around at the moment that it is proving impossible to choose just one. All the dresses here are from just four brands- MonsoonWhistles, Three Floor Fashion and AQ/AQ which all have a great range of dresses at the moment. I love the classic styles from Monsoon, the cool and casual pieces from Whistles, the sexy jumpsuits from AQ/AQ and the quirky dresses from Three Floor Fashion. I simply can't decide on one... help a girl out...  which is your favourite?
